Construction Administration

Public and private clients rely on HRC for comprehensive construction administration services, from conceptualization through project design and construction. We act as the Owner's representative at all stages, providing a variety of related services to coordinate with design professionals, owners, and any subcontractors.

CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION TASKS MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Establish and maintain a tracking system for all project construction records (RFI’s, ASI’s, RFP/CO’s)

  • Review the Contractor’s project schedule, schedule of values, submittal schedule, and equipment matrix, and list of proposed subcontractors

  • Make recommendations to address deficiencies or defects

  • Interpret contract document technical requirements and observe Contractor's work performance for proper execution or progress

  • Clarify and interpret the intent and scope of the construction documents

  • Respond to Contractor’s inquiries and provide supplemental information as appropriate

  • Provide assistance in the review of the Contractor’s requests for change orders

  • Review as-built documents for completeness at substantial completion and final completion

  • Review Contractor’s record drawings, O&M instructions, and all other close-out documentation

  • Recommend final payment to the Contractor at completion

  • Monitor the Contractor’s schedule for the construction phase work
